Winter rain is falling and mixing with the snow
Memory recalling sorrows known long ago
Love never given, love taken away
Hard to get your footing on a dark winter day

Seems like the middle of the night, here in the middle of my days
Can't seem to wake or shake or even turn away
From these dreams, from this haze

Everybody needing love and tenderness but getting merely blame
