Dear family, friends, and fellow travelers,
I'm resending the music emails - the mail server had some issues and a lot of folks didn't receive the newsletter. So a second round. My apologies if you're getting two of these.
The song this cycle is All of My Daytimes. Forty-three years ago, during the summer, Pammy and I, who had been friends for many years, saw the light, fell in love and decided to get married in November. My childhood friend, Denny, and his beloved, Martha, were also getting married that fall, in October. This song came as we approached our wedding times. It was first performed at Denny and Martha's wedding. They then performed it at Pammy's and mine. We just passed out 43rd anniversary this week and I found myself wanting to record it and send it out.
The world scene and the state of things at home continues to be hard, with such terrible suffering and troubles. If it's helpful to you, listen to the playlist, Times of Sorrow, some piano improvs that help me focus and might give comfort. And do what you can - speak, act, love, sing together.
My best to each,
I'm sending you a monthly offering from original music I've been writing over many years. I've been so bold as to add your email to my newsletter list. You can unsubscribe at any time (link at the bottom of the email).
