The song this cycle is Back Home with Jesus, written earlier this summer with some help from my friend and lyric magician May-Lily Lee. I finally made a quick recording this morning.
My first six years of school with the sisters of St. Bernadette's, my next six with the monks of St. Anselm's - there's a lot of Catholic swirling around inside for someone who thinks of himself as outside those frames. So an evening with Jesus for drinks and conversation, some pondering.
